In addition to providing time and cost savings, the uneven spacing of cutting edges produces highly cylindrical and round bores at faster feed rates, outperforming single-point tools, according to the company.
The tooling requires no dial-in adjustments, which simplifies use and reduces the risk of scrap parts. Enhanced chip removal prevents stringy chip buildup, reducing downtime and part damage.
