The Widia VariDrill multi-application drill is engineered to extend tool life across a range of materials, including steels, stainless steels, cast iron, nonferrous material and high-temperature alloys. It is well-suited for multipurpose drilling operations in small- to medium-sized job shops and maintenance areas. The drill features an advanced point geometry designed to reduce chipping on the cutting edge as well as a margin-less design for reduced friction. It is available in 3×D and 5×D non-coolant, and 3×D, 5×D and 8×D coolant-through lengths, with diameters ranging from 1.0 to 20.0 mm (0.0394" to 0.7874").
