Red Lion Controls introduces the model G306A to its line of G3 operator interface panels. Featuring TFT active matrix display, the control provides contrast, brightness and readability for easier viewing in challenging applications, the company says. The 256-color, QVGA LCD display measures 5.7" and offers three front-panel LED indicators and a five-button keypad for on-screen menus. Standard features include an Ethernet port, a USB programming port, support for as many as five high-speed serial ports, an integrated protocol converter, a built-in Web server, a standard CompactFlash socket and information technology-ready data logging.
Users can enter data with the resistive analog touchscreen or front-panel keypad. Plus, this model features an 8-MB onboard flash memory. These features make the control suited for collecting and displaying data or interfacing with devices such as PLCs, PCs, drives, PID controllers and more.
