Laser Tools Machining, a division of Laser Tools Co. Inc., offers the Gravestone, a quick-change fixture system designed to fit onto a rotary table or computer-driven indexer. Constructed of anodized 7075-T6 aluminum for tool hardness and machinability, the workholding system supports parts for milling in either vertical or horizontal positions, and can be quickly mounted and demounted using one hex-head-through bolt. The system is said to help shorten milling cycles and increase the number of parts machined, for greater productivity. Gravestone blanks and rotary table adapters are custom-machined to fit existing tables or indexers, and are also available as a do-it-yourself template. The company also offers custom machining of blanks to fit customer parts.
