SB Machine Tools System Offers 5-Axis/5-Face Machining
The JapanTek 5X-410 machining center available from SB Machine Tools features a 120-degree tilting spindle head and can provide five-axis, five-face, horizontal and vertical machining in one machine.

With a single setup and two-pallet automatic pallet changer, the 5X-410 is designed to eliminate protracted cycle times and excessive scrap commonly associated with the numerous fixturing requirements of multiple-operations or complex parts. It can accomplish five-axis/five-face milling, drilling and tapping on intricate shapes, and is well-suited for a variety of aviation, aerospace, medical, automotive, and die and mold applications, the company says.
