Henning Software’s Touch Scheduling Board software system uses a touchscreen interface that enables users to drag and drop scheduled shop order operations represented as cards within and between work centers. This planning/scheduling tool is designed to be deployed on large touchscreen monitors on the shop floor and is fully integrated into the company’s Visual EstiTrack ERP system.
The scheduling board also enables authorized users to change run quantities based on release coverage, view due dates, redefine routers and assign employees to work centers and/or operations. Users can color code cards by customer, define on-the-fly operational performance notes that can be shared with other shop personnel and set a variety of shop order statuses such as “waiting for material.” Animated icons are used to show hot and late jobs.
