NCSimul 8 is suited for debugging, optimizing and running NC programs for CNC machines. BRT-Solutions’ machining simulation software is capable of simulating the CNC machine by accounting for characteristics such as dimensions, axes, ranges, compensations and controller type. The software also simulates material removal from the rough stock. It performs a detailed check of the resulting part dimensions, computes the cross-sections and compares the finished part with the theoretical CAD model.
Cutting conditions are optimized based on tool/material combinations and instant machining conditions, which include plunge, grooving, chip size and authorized power. Capabilities include editing tool paths by providing functions such as NC block insertion and/or deletion and rewriting ISO programs.
