SwiftCarb introduces the 180-degree Corner Rounding Series from its SuperBee line, crafted with precision-ground surfaces that can ensure repeatability from insert to insert, according to the company. It is available in multiple grades and coatings to optimize performance based on individual material cutting requirements.
The company says users can experience time savings across a spectrum of applications requiring a 180-degree radius and switch between radius sizes within the cutter bodies’ range. The 1.25" DIA two-flute 180-degree corner rounding cutter bodies each have a defined radius range for maximum backing and support behind the insert. The uniform positioning of the radius center line across all sizes facilitates a simple transition between different radius sizes.
The 180-degree indexable corner rounder is available in standard radii including 0.031", 0.039", 0.047", 0.062", 0.079", 0.093", 0.099", 0.118" and 0.125". For sizes not listed that fall between 0.031" and 0.125" radius, customers can request a quote and the company will accommodate for specific requirements.
