Syspro is demonstrating its Syspro Cloud ERP software, which is said to provide the benefits of a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution while providing the flexibility, customization and security of a traditional, on-premises deployment.
Syspro Cloud ERP is designed to eliminate the support and integration of the core technology infrastructure, servers, storage, databases, operating system and networking. The platform runs in Microsoft Azure, which can offer redundancy in all aspects, from power and connectivity to hosting and storage, aiming for customers to experience high availability, strong security and optimal performance. Should the customer experience data loss for any reason, Syspro Cloud ERP provides automatic backups so customers can retrieve information at any time.
Additionally, Syspro Cloud ERP customers still retain complete and sole control of their data. Because the platform lives in a single-tenant, multi-company infrastructure, customers can customize their instance of Syspro Cloud ERP as they see fit, and they control when they upgrade to a new version.
“Mid-market manufacturers and distributors are interested in the benefits of SaaS, because they typically have limited IT resources,” says Jamie Veinot, product manager at Syspro Americas. “We take care of the underlying infrastructure, so they don’t have to. But they’re not willing to give up the ability to customize their ERP platform or control when the software is updated or changed. With Syspro Cloud ERP, they don’t have to choose.”
