Takumi USA introduces both the UA400 five-axis machining center and the VC1200 three-axis machining center. Equipped with a FANUC control, Takumi CNC machines are built for high precision, durability and rigidity.
VC1200: Designed with roller-type linear rails to support faster feed rates, smoother linear motion due to larger contact areas compared to ball-type linear rails and pre-tensioned ballscrews that can minimize thermal growth and improve accuracy, this three-axis vertical machining center is built for mold machining. The Takumi VC1200 also has fast rapids (1,417″ per minute), XYZ travels of 50″ × 25.98″ × 24″, 24-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) and a 15,000-rpm, Big Plus CAT 40 spindle.
UA400: A recent addition to the Takumi USA lineup, the UA400 has XYZ travels of 24.8″ × 24.8″ × 20.1″, a +30/-110-degree A-axis trunnion, 360-degree C-axis, 400-mm table, high-speed, inline spindle and 40-tool ATC. The Takumi UA400 five-axis machining center is also intended for thermal compensation and optimizing surface finish.
