Samchully Workholding’s MCA pneumatic chuck is a three-jaw stationary chuck designed to hold round workpieces in a machining center or mounted on a tombstone. One chuck can be installed on a milling machine and operated separately, or multiple chucks can be mounted on a plate and actuated together. The chuck operates via standard shop air pressure, and a safety valve system prevents workpiece release in the case of a failure of the pneumatic system.
The power chuck can be used with standard serrated soft or hard jaws or can be fitted with application jaws as required. Threaded holes on the face enable mounting locators or fixtures, and a small through-hole can be used as an air blast for clearing chips off the workpiece. MCA chucks are available in 4", 6", 8" and 10" sizes.
