Techna-Tool will display the Techna-Check tool monitoring system, which monitors the spindle motor to identify broken, missing or dull cutting tools. The TC-USB system to be highlighted at the show works with most PC-based controls and enables running the software directly on the operator’s interface. According to the company, the system can be used to monitor most gear-cutting and hobbing operations.
The company will also display its line of precision Hirth gears designed for applications ranging from indexing tables to pallet-changers. The gears are available in sizes ranging from 50 to 1,500 mm with accuracies of ±1 arc sec.
