Grizzly Industrial’s G0740 lathe provides a distance of 40" between centers and a swing over the bed measuring 14.17". The high-precision toolroom lathe features a D1-5 spindle powered by a 5-hp, 220-V three-phase motor. A completely enclosed gearbox provides quieter operation while extending gear and bearing life. A 16-speed headstock features precision-hardened and ground gears in an oil-lubricated bath. The machine features hardened and ground V-way bed with Meehanite castings, and a coolant system that includes a pull-out chip tray and full-length splash guard. The lathe is equipped with a quick-change toolpost, steady and follow rests, an 8" three-jaw scroll chuck, a 10" four-jaw independent chuck, 10" faceplate, two dead centers, a halogen work light and a foot brake.
