The VersaGrip vise jaw system from Mitee-Bite is designed to offer the versatility of clamping standard vise work as well as workpieces that would normally require fixturing or machining soft jaws. The system is capable of holding oddly shaped workpieces in a range of sizes, as well as holding multiple parts in a single cycle. The hardened vise jaw system has penetrating teeth to prevent lateral and horizontal movement. According to the company, the grips will hold flame-cut workpieces, castings and workpieces with negative drift.
