Jet Edge’s iP60-150 waterjet intensifier pump produces as much as 3 gpm (11.4 lpm) of ultra-high-pressure water for precision waterjet cutting and surface preparation applications. The 150-hp, 60,000-psi pump supports orifices ranging to 0.025" (0.64 mm) and features dual intensifier systems. It also includes a kidney-loop hydraulic cooling and filtration system, an anti-corrosive interior coated hydraulic reservoir, lift-off covers designed for ease of use and touchscreen controls. The pump’s motor drive assembly is mounted on an isolation system to reduce noise and vibration.
The pump features a tie-rod design, which has no threaded cylinder, threaded end caps or threaded hydraulic cylinder, making it less prone to cracking than threaded designs, the company says. It also features hydraulic accumulators designed to reduce wear on the hydraulic pump and hydraulic center sections, which incorporate high-duty cycle-rated piston seal and wear rings.
