The Omax 80X JetMachining Center is designed for cutting large-scale components or multiple-part projects from exotic alloys, metals, composites and more. According to Omax, the waterjet cutting machine is a reliable system that requires minimal maintenance. It features the company’s Tilt-A-Jet cutting head accessory, said to enable zero taper with no reduction in cutting speed for precise cutting of parts with square, taper-free edges, including interlocking pieces and dovetail fittings. The bridge-style waterjet is compatible with the 100-hp direct-drive pump with EnduroMax technology, and can be equipped with a rotary axis that enables six-axis cutting capabilities for generating complex 3D parts from CAD drawings or DXF files.
Omax will also highlight its 1530 Maxiem waterjet system equipped with a 40-hp direct-drive pump and optional A-Jet multi-axis cutting head, as well as its Intelli-CAM software system.
