Yaskawa’s compact SG400 and SG650 SCARA robots provide precise, high-speed processing for small parts. The company says these horizontally articulated robots excel at assembly, sorting, applications demanding short cycle times, and multi-process systems requiring pick-and-place capability. With their small size and high flexibility, the SCARA robots are said to provide a high work envelope-to-mounting surface ratio. According to the company, the robots are designed to be simple to integrate with current automation, and can be rapidly redeployed to fit changing manufacturing needs.
