Stratasys is now offering Ultem 1010 resin for its Fortus 400mc and 450mc 3D production systems. Previously only available for the Fortus 900mc, Ultem 1010 is a high-performance fused-deposition modeling (FDM) thermoplastic designed for tensile strength as well as heat and chemical resistance. The resin is biocompatible per ISO-10993 and compliant with FST regulation. Ultem 1010 is well-suited for industrial tooling applications including aerospace and automotive clips, housings and ducts; food production patterns, dies and fixtures; and custom medical tools including surgical guides, fixtures and trays.
