Methods Machine Tools will hold a grand opening event at its Technology Center in San Leandro, Calif., May 14 to 15. The 10,280-square-foot facility has been established to support the company’s customers in Northern California, Oregon and Washington. The technology center will serve as a showroom for the company’s machine tools and automation technology, and application experts will be based on-site.
The event will feature technical seminars, live demonstrations of Methods equipment, and a raffle. Two grand prizes for the raffle will be awarded, one for six months’ use of a FANUC RoboDrill and one for use of a Feeler FTC-30 CNC lathe for the same amount of time. A traditional Japanese sake barrel smashing ceremony will take place May 14.
