Mitutoyo America Announces Organizational Changes
The president’s move to the company’s European branch has prompted two executive-level promotions.

Mitutoyo America Corp. (Aurora, Illinois) has appointed Matt Dye president of Mitutoyo America, replacing Shigeyuki Sasaki, and Doug Adkins has been appointed executive vice president.
Over the past 21 years, Mr. Dye has worked as a distributor of Mitutoyo products and held various positions with the company, most recently as vice president of measuring instrument sales and technical services.
Mr. Adkins has been with Mitutoyo America for 20 years, most recently working in the position of vice president of distributed products.
For the past 10 years, Mr. Sasaki has worked as vice president, executive vice president, and most recently, as president of Mitutoyo America. He has been asked to join the team in Germany to support Mitutoyo European operations, and as such has assumed an advisory role with Mitutoyo Europe. During his tenure as president of Mitutoyo America, he is said to have overseen expansion in virtually every department as well as the opening of a new corporate headquarters and regional offices.
