91ÊÓƵÍøÕ¾ÎÛ has partnered with to present the , happening at 12:00 p.m. EST on Monday, September 27, 2021. The digital event provides shop owners information to improve their company value, reduce the risk of their business transition and increase their chance of success. The lineup features more than a dozen speakers pulled from shop owners who have been through this process themselves and industry experts with unique insights on company transitions. They will share their behind-the-scenes stories of business sales and transitions.
“As the current generation of machine shop owners ages into retirement, it’s highly likely that many shops will experience some kind of ownership change within the next 10-15 years,” noted Paul Van Metre, with ProShop ERP. “Given the fact that many shop owners have the majority of their net worth tied up in their businesses, the outcome can be disappointing. The good news is that with forethought and planning, it's realistic to more than double the value of most shops in 2-3 years’ time, and dramatically increase the chance for a successful business transition.“
The conference agenda includes:
- What Machine Shop Sellers Need to Know
- How to Buy a Machine Shop
- Planning for the Next Generation
- Determining Shop Value
- Tax and Legal Concerns
- The Private Equity Perspective
- Maximizing Shop Value
Full agenda details and registration are .
Attendees will be provided with recordings of all sessions, access to a directory of machine shop buyers and the opportunity to connect with those companies for future conversations.
