Techni Waterjet (Lenexa, Kansas) celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2014. The company was formed in 1989 by Darren Reukers and Glenn Langdon with the goal of providing robotic and automation systems to the automotive industry. It later found a niche in the robotic waterjet market for high-speed trimming of automotive components, including headliners, floor and trunk carpets, door panels, and instrument panels. Headquartered in Campbellfield, Australia, today Techni Waterjet operates facilities in the United States, Poland and Thailand.
