The Sigma green 60-grit grinding wheels are thin and flexible, which the company claims, provides better operator control.Ìý These grinding wheels feature a proprietary blend of zirconium/ceramic grain, which is said to be suitable for light-weld removal and finishing applications on stainless steel and aluminum. Ìý The company also claims that these bonded grinding wheels work fast and outlast flap discs.
The grinding wheels come in 4½"Ìý× 7/8" and 4½"Ìý× 5/8" to 5/11" sizes and are available with or without hubs. The company says the line is offered in a variety of grit sizes for grinding harder materials such as inconel and titanium.
