The modular KM-RC conveyor system from Kwik Mark features a dual-chain drive and steel roller attachments designed to accommodate a variety of products. The system is suited for applications that require frequent product change-over. The marker can be positioned anywhere along the length to control input/output accumulation requirements, the company says, and the T-slot framework can be used to mount other stations for inspection, testing, assembly and more.
 
The 7/8"-diameter conveyor rollers are spaced 1" apart to enable accurate transportation of parts ranging in size from ½" × 2 to 12" × 24" ×3". The conveyor can accommodate parts weighing as much as 2,000 lbs with round, flat and non-uniform shapes. The conveyor features one fixed and one infinitely adjustable rail, both of which are available in a variety of lengths and widths.
 
The built-in pneumatic stops are automatically controlled by the marker and require no programming, the company says. The low-profile guide rail enables multi-point clamping of products with virtually any geometry.
 
A safety E-stop pull cord is included at the periphery of the conveyor. Activating the E-stop pauses the marking cycle, which can then be resumed later.
