Kalamazoo Industries’ model BG14 back stand grinder is intended for foundry applications such as rapidly grinding gates and risers. The machine features a 14" × 3" contact wheel and 3" × 132" belt. The 10-hp motor enables speeds ranging to 6,300 sfm. The grinder includes back stand tracking and a vacuum attachment, and it is available with dual-contact wheels for multi-station operation. Options include a variable speed drive and contact wheels of various diameters.
