Weiler has added 12" and 14" cutting wheels in aluminum oxide and silicon carbide grains to its bonded abrasives product line for general-purpose cutting on metal and concrete applications.
All products in the Vortec Pro line are designed for grinding and cutting steel, iron and other ferrous metals. They are resin-bond formulated to quickly remove stock and are reinforced with fiberglass webbing for stability.
The company’s Type 27 grinding products range from 4" to 7" in diameter and are available in both ¼" thickness for grinding and ⅛" thickness for light grinding or cutting. The wheels are available in aluminum-oxide grain with an optional ⅝"-11 hub and are used on right-angle grinders.
Type 1 cutting wheels are available from 2" to 14" in diameter in various grit sizes and thicknesses in aluminum oxide and silicon-carbide abrasive grains. They are used on right-angle, electric, air-die and toolroom grinders as well as circular saws.
