The BCG Vortex wheels from Norton Abrasives are designed to reduce through-feed centerless grinding cycle time while increasing the number of parts per wheel on grindable, medium-high resistance-to-wear materials such as soft and hardened 52100 steel, 1000 series carbon steels and 4000 series alloy steels.

The Vortex technology does not require the use of artificial pore inducers (chemicals), which the company cites as a benefit. Available in 80- and 100-grit sizes, the wheels are offered in thicknesses of 10" in one piece, or as thick as 20" in sets.Ìý
