Available from Efficient Manufacturing Technologies, the Haeberle FM/1 chamfer grinder is a fully automatic machine for chamfering carbide or HSS tool blanks. The high-capacity loader can accommodate parts ranging from 1 mm to 20 mm in diameter, with lengths from 32 mm to 195 mm. The machine’s simplicity eases setup and operation, the company says. Average part-to-part cycle times between 1 and 5 sec. can be achieved with the use of standard 4" CBN or diamond grinding wheels.
