The Hardinge Talent 51 MSY CNC turning center features the company’s quick-change collet-ready spindle designed for improved part accuracy and surface finish capabilities compared to conventional spindles. The machine is equipped with live tooling, a subspindle and a Y axis to enable part-complete operations. The 25-hp main spindle provides 5,000 rpm. The turning center has a 2" bar capacity, a turning diameter of 12.2", and a maximum turning length of 24.9".
The 12-station turret uses a ¾" square shank and a 1¼" round shank tooling with a 6,000 rpm maximum live tooling speed. The turret also provides a half-station index for up to 24 tools. Additionally, the machine offers a FANUC 0i-TF control with standard control features.
