The company’s CPU (CO2 Processer Unit) provides OEMs, machine builders and equipment engineers with advanced CO2-based processing technology for cleaning, machining and thermal spray in a compact plug-and-spray integration module. The CPU can be integrated into virtually any standard or custom machine platform to provide in-situ dry, clean surface treatment, process temperature control or cooling-lubrication to form virtually unlimited new products and aftermarket opportunities. Integrating one of its CPU modules into an existing product creates an entirely new, differentiated product, the company says. Integrated products and processes are much more productive because two or more manufacturing operations are performed within the same work cell. The high-throughput, precision cleaning system removes submicron particles from hard disk drive components.
