Tungaloy America’s CVD-coated T9100 steel turning series features a “PremiumTec” coating, which is a special surface technology that gives the insert a highly polished cutting surface. This surface adds greater lubricity, which reduces adhesion and improves chip flow, the company says. In addition, the company’s pre-coat bonding technology increases tool life.
Two featured grades include the T9125 for general-purpose turning and the T9115 for semi-rough and finish high speed turning. The T9100 series is available in TSF, TM, AR, S, TH and PS chip breakers.
