Eriez’s HydroFlow permanent magnetic and rare earth coolant cleaners are designed for use with surface grinders, gear grinders, honing and lapping machines, milling and drilling machines, and other equipment requiring clean coolant. The cleaners are said to maximize the life of cutting tools, grinding wheels, pumps and coolant fluids. Radial-design magnetic circuits extract ferrous particles to help meet tolerances and improve surface finish in grinding and metalcutting operations. According to the company, the cleaners are easy to install in restricted spaces, and can be used on new or existing machines. Various models and capacities are available.
