Cecor’s model CP50-200/200CB5 coolant sump cleaner and dispenser is designed to filter solids from coolant in larger metal machining operations so coolant can be recycled. The unit is mounted on an electric 48-V Columbia ParCar truck for transporting coolant between the machine tool and batch processing areas.
A 200-gallon-compartment tank collects and filters dirty coolant, and another 200-gallon compartment dispenses clean coolant. On the way to the tank, the dirty coolant passes through a filter that separates the chips and swarf from the coolant. The F23 filter can hold 2.3 cu. ft. of solids. The sump can be refilled with fresh coolant from the dispenser side, and both tanks have pump-in and pump-out capabilities. The pump is powered by a Kohler 20-hp, four-stroke cycle Command series engine with electric start. The sump cleaner pumps fluid at rates ranging to 110 gpm and generates suction ranging to 13" Hg (177" water).
