E-tech Machinery offers its series of CNC conversational cylindrical grinders designed for small- to medium-size workpieces in the mold, automotive, aerospace and electronics industries. The AC servomotor and pre-stretched ballscrew provide high positioning accuracy. To increase mass production efficiency, the machines can be equipped with auto-gaging systems or gantry-type loading/unloading systems.
With a static-pressure lubrication system, the rigid worktable travels on a cushion of oil without metal-to-metal contact to prolong machine service life. A combination hydrostatic/hydrodynamic bearing on the wheel spindle promotes rigidity and vibration damping. The movement of the hardened-alloy steel sleeve housed in the tailstock uses an air-float design for light and smooth motion, while oil bath lubrication is designed to ensure high accuracy.
A FANUC CNC conversational program with graphic parameters eases operation. These parameters can be saved and reused for multiple grinding cycles.
