Aven’s Cylcops digital inspection microscope can connect directly to an HD monitor or computer. With both HDMI and USB output modes, the microscope enables users to see video or single frames on a monitor, bypassing the computer if saving or sharing isn’t necessary. In HDMI mode, the microscope has a magnification range of 15× to 270× on a 21.5" HD monitor. When connected to a PC via the USB cable, magnification increases to 534×.
The microscope is equipped with a 5-megapixel CMOS censor and 30 LEDs for crisp, clear images. Video is recorded at 30 frames/sec. Brightness and sector controls regulate the illumination. Gain control is automatic, while white balance can be set manually if preferred. A white balance card and calibration scale are provided. Image capture software with measurement and editing tools are included, and the system is compatible with Windows 7 or 8. Accessories include a metal stand, power adapter and infrared remote control. A 4× objective lens and a 10× lens are also available.
