Featuring a double-wheel configuration, the AC 640-F microLine grinder can accommodate workpiece diameters as large as 180 mm. According to manufacturer Peter Wolters AG, the machine’s modular system of main components together with its control, drive and measuring technologies provides reliability and ease of use.
For accessibility and industrial safety, the grinder has removable machine linings and fully covered process areas. The upper working wheel swings out to provide automatic loading and unloading. Constructed with a cast iron frame, the machine is equipped with three independently controlled drives, a high-precision pneumatic pressure system, a cooling matrix and a language-independent human-machine interface.
