Designed primarily for the die and mold industry, RobbJack’s TM series of two-flute, Toroid-style end mills can machine tool steels as hard as 62 HRc. The end mills feature distinctive carbide grades, high-accuracy geometries and application-specific coatings to achieve high cutting speeds for roughing and finishing of 3D die and mold cavities, the company says. In addition, the tools are useful for helical boring and allow wider step-overs on flat floors. The mills are available in both standard and metric sizes.
