Cimcool, a division of Milacron, offers HFP Fluids with FACT (foam arrest control technology). The fluids produce less foam, which results in better lubricity than conventional metalworking fluids, the company says. This makes it suited for high speed machining and metalworking operations. The fluid line controls rancidity and is compatible with most conventional waste treatment methods, the company says.
The different fluid products serve a range of applications. Cimpierial 1060CF-HFP with FACT is chlorine-free, premium soluble oil for use where excellent finish and part quality are desired, the company says. Cimpierial 16 EP-HFP with FACT is suited for high turnover, high-pressure applications where foam control is required.
Cimstar 60C-HFP with FACT is designed for use in moderate to heavy-duty machining and grinding operations. Cimstar 70C-HFP with FACT blends the technological advantages of synthetic lubricants with the performance of soluble oils for machining and grinding in moderate to heavy-duty operations. Cleanliness, residue, lubricity and corrosion control are combined into one fluid.
Cimtech 320-HFP with FACT is a low pH synthetic fluid designed for the aerospace industry. It is also recommended for machining and grinding of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Suited for moderate to heavy-duty operations on aluminum, the fluid is low foaming, even when used with deionized water, the company says. Cimtech 510Z-HFP with FACT is said to have all the advantages of a synthetic fluid, with the performance capabilities of a heavy-duty product. It is ideal for central system applications, the company says, and is recommended for moderate to heavy-duty machining and grinding operations of ferrous materials where a synthetic is desired.
