The company presents three new grinders that are said to be designed to boost productivity without sacrificing precision. The three machines include the Suprema 650 cylindrical grinding machine, the Dominator 624 creep feed grinding machine and the TechMaster 634 surface grinding machine. Each machine features the “Easy Control,” which is said to be simple to use and quick to set, yielding cycle times comparable to machines with full CNC control. The Suprema 650 cylindrical grinding machine incorporates a universal wheelhead and has a grinding capacity of 12" (300 mm) in diameter and 25.5" (650 mm) in length between centers. Models are also available in lengths of 40" (1 m) and 60" (1.5 m). While this universal wheelhead configuration is suitable for ID and OD work, other head configurations are available. The Dominator 624 creep feed grinding machine features Fanuc CNC as well as an innovative design that is intended to use a compact footprint while promoting structural rigidity and good performance characteristics, the company says. The Techmaster 634 is a heavy-duty surface grinder originally designed for use in tool rooms and moldmaking facilities but is comfortable with aerospace and medical work with its quick setup and high metal removal rates. This model has a grinding capacity of 12" × 24" (300 × 600 mm) and can grind pieces as tall as 15.75" (400 mm). Other sizes are available with table sizes to 24" × 47" (600 × 1200 mm).
