MicroSwiss’ say’tec high-performance grinding wheels for Swiss-type screw machines are designed for parts that require tight tolerances, fine finishes and virtually no burrs. Each hardened steel grinding wheel is embedded with high-performance abrasive particles and is said to be well-suited for machining exotic steel alloy materials. According to the company, the grinding wheel maintains its shape and does not need to be dressed, and abrasive residue will not contaminate coolant because the wheel does not wear when in use. The wheels are compatible with OEM toolholders so that no additional tooling is required, and they are available for a variety of screw machines.
