By enabling efficient management of tool data, measuring and inspection equipment, the company’s established software is said to optimize and standardize the entire process of tool preparation and production planning. Using TDMstoreasy, users can manage both manual and automatic storage systems, including spiral cabinets, lift systems and cabinets with drawers. An import assistant is available to reduce data entry time. Established interfaces to CAD/CAM systems such as Catia V5, NX Siemens, Pro Engineer, Tebis, TopSolidCAM, Esprit, MasterCAM, EdgeCAM and SolidCAM ensure that the NC-programming works with uniform tool data, the company says. The TDM Data and Graphic Generator is available to quickly create data for realistic collision analysis. With just a few mouse clicks, users can create a complete tool data record with true-to-scale and ready-to-simulate 2D and 3D graphics. This is said to provide a time savings of as much as 90 percent. The generator contains detailed information for more than 45,000 tools.
