CribMaster’s software suite—CribMaster 10, CribMaster Web and CribMaster Mobile Plus—is designed to streamline inventory management processes, improve productivity and reduce operational costs for industrial distributors and manufacturers. Management of indirect material usage across multiple sites can be challenging for industrial distributors and manufacturers because it often requires operating numerous disparate databases or the use of one database that applies the same global settings for all sites regardless of specific requirements. The programs in this suite provide more control and mobility by enabling real-time access to site-level inventory data from any location. The use of mobile devices and Web browsers can reduce the total cost of ownership of inventory management solutions through reduced IT infrastructure requirements, the company says.
CribMaster 10 provides visibility and control over the flow of inventory by site on a single software platform. It enables the performance of critical functions at the site or crib level, which means that managers can work with each site’s data according to the needs of a specific location. When setting up a crib application at multiple sites, this filtering feature eases the management of multiple locations, POUs and offsite storage.
CribMaster Web brings an online interface to the platform, enabling access to a site’s databases from any registered device for improved versatility and ease of use and reduced need for IT resources.
CribMaster Mobile Plus is an application for iPhones that can replace costly scanning equipment to reduce CapEx spending, increase productivity and improve data accuracy. Workers can now use their iPhones as scanners with other capabilities such as taking and attaching pictures, searching for POs and verifying data.
