Tsugami/Rem Sales presents the B0205-III CNC lathe with integrated robotics and automated part loading. To increase rigidity in the series, the company moved the electrical control cabinet from inside the machine to an external position behind the machine, and installed two additional support ribs in the space that held the cabinet. The machine is designed to improve part runout and straightness, particularly after parts have been transferred from the main spindle to the subspindle.
The machine’s main spindle cross tool features speeds ranging from 5,000 to 8,000 rpm, designed to lengthen the back spindle slide stroke on the X2 and Z2 axes, increase the ballscrew diameters, expand the tool area inside the machines, and streamline chip flow and removal. The machine also features Abile programming software.
This series of CNC Lathes can be run as traditional Swiss-style lathes with a guide bushing or operated with optional chucker kits.
