Carr Lane Manufacturing's new, low-profile version of the Tiny Vise edge clamp is designed for machining thin workpieces, and for applications in which down thrust action is not required.
The clamps grip the side of a workpiece to keep the top clear for machining. The product’s design features a slotted countersink to provide strong, reliable clamping force with the turn of a hex wrench. The clamps can be used to fixture multiple parts, small or large.
Each clamp has a serrated face for maximum gripping, as well as a smooth face to avoid marring finished parts. The product is available in a variety of sizes, ranging from a small #8–32 thread size up to a 1”–8 thread size with 2,500 lbs of clamping force.
