Tykma Electrox introduces its large marking field system designed for marking large components and trays of parts without complex motion stages or axis movements. The system provides a continuous marking field ranging to 24" × 24" (600 × 600 mm) while maintaining a small beam diameter with high-energy output. According to the company, the technology excels over traditional XY stage systems that require more complex programming and higher cycle times due to indexing movements. This system supports processing expansive graphics in one cycle without any tiling or stitching, and large trays or fixtures of parts can be marked in shorter cycle times, the company says.
Features include a programmable focal height adjustment and a 70-W MOPA fiber laser source that provides both power and pulse duration control for processing a variety of materials and substrates. Tykma Electrox says the system is ideal for a variety of industries and applications, including deep engraving of firearms, annealing of medical components, color change marking on plastics and more.
