Designed for rough and fine cleaning tasks a like, Dürr Ecoclean’s EcoCWave is a modular aqueous cleaning system designed to work with alkaline, neutral or acidic media.
The system is available with two or three flooding tanks, mounted upright and featuring rounded geometry to optimize flow and prevent the formation of chip and dirt traps. According to the company, this design improves cleaning quality and extends the service life of cleaning fluid. Another contributor to improved performance is the optimized rollover unit in the working chamber. It ensures that the fluid and mechanical cleaning devices (for example, ultrasonic units and spraying nozzles) can reach the product effectively from all sides.
Due to the use of variable-frequency driven pumps, volumetric flow rates can be adjusted for energy efficiency. Additionally, the cleaning process can be adapted selectively to meet specific requirements.
The EcoCWave’s vacuum-tight work chamber designed for batches measuring up to 670 × 480 × 300 mm. Also available is an enlarged work chamber for 670 × 480 × 400-mm containers that can be installed without enlarging the footprint. The volume-adapted batch configuration reduces per-unit costs.
