Emag will feature its modular VL 2 vertical pick-up turning machine for machining components ranging to 100 mm in diameter. The VL series of inverted vertical lathes is designed to be a modular solution for medium- and large-batch runs. The machines feature a compact design and an integrated O-automation system for transporting workpieces, which is said to enable short cycle times and higher productivity when combined with self-loading pick-up spindles. All service units are designed to be easily within reach so that operators can maintain the machines with ease.
