Move Files Between A PC, Server
GE Fanuc’s Program Transfer tool is a Microsoft Windows, PC-based productivity software tool for input and output of part programs and operator files between a PC and a CNC (or data server). Using the tool’s graphical interface to “drag and drop” files, large part program files can be input or output directly to data server storage. This enables users to take advantage of embedded Ethernet for program transfer without first setting up a PC-based FTP application.

The application allows communications to be defined between a PC and as many as 255 Fanuc CNCs. A built-in setting dialog application aids in setup and initial communication testing. Each machine setting allows the PC folder to automatically open when communication begins, ensuring that proper part program files are used. In addition to part programs, transfer of tool offset and macro variable tables is also supported.
