The Vc-205 is designed with aÌýmoving column to offer pendulum machining on two partitions of the long fixed table. The machine is equipped with four moving doors as standard and the tool magazine (disk type 24 tools or chain type 32 tools) is mounted on the moving column. To let the column travel along the long table smoothly, there's no cover on the top of the machine, which is different from the compnay's C-framedÌývertical machining centerÌýwith aÌýfixed column.
However, when the CTS (Coolant Through Spindle) option is required for higher machining accuracy, this high-pressure coolant can be easily reflected from the top of the machine after hitting the part orÌýfixed table.
