Productivity in machining pockets previously inaccessible is now made possible with the new CoroGrip pencil collets, according to the company. These new pencil collets are said to allow users to machine even further into cavities and pockets with no compromise in stability, which makes them useful for die and mold applications.
The company says its precision power chuck provides outstanding clamping forces and a high level of stability, which makes it useful for high speed machining. Together with CoroMill Plura end mills, they are a useful combination for minimum run-out and highest precision, the company says.
The pencil collets are available for end mills with shank diameter 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm.
